Young Life Adventures offers a variety of creative camping opportunities to experience the gospel of Jesus Christ outdoors. Campers and leaders set out on unique adventures together in small groups. Options range from backpacking to kayaking to service projects. Let a small group outdoor adventure help introduce your friends to Jesus or to grow in their faith!
Base Camp Adventures involve staying at a base camp for the week and sleeping in cabins or yurts at night. We head out on daily adventures, and return to camp each day for club, building community with any other groups attending camp with you. These experiences include Young Life Adventures Baja (a service experience), Adventures Santa Cruz, Adventures Wild Ridge, Pioneer Plunge and Wilderness Ranch.
Trail Adventures offer the opportunity to experience adventures on foot or by water and sleeping in tents at night. We share content along the trail and journey to new places every day. Trail camps include Beyond Malibu and Wilderness Ranch.
SUMMER 2027 POSITIONS AVAILABLE!
Adventures Baja, Mexico AND Adventures Santa Cruz, CA ...(will be one team for Adventures Baja/Santa Cruz for 2027)
- Dates: June 1-28 in Baja AND July 6-28 in Santa Cruz, CA (time off in between)
- Internships (volunteer or paid if fund-raise): 10 positions
- Roles: music intern, medic, food service, photo, service project facilitators, adventure guides.

- Dates: May 16- Aug 7 (interns); June 13-28, June 30-July 15, July 16-31 (summer staff)
- Internships (paid): 4 positions
- Roles: Facilitate adventures (hiking/rock climbing or kayaking), food service, retail, housekeeping, & general basecamp needs
